Religious schools tend to teach strange things about masturbation. Like the idea that every time you masturbate, an angel dies. If that were true, I’d be responsible for a serious angelic massacre. And I’m sure plenty of you would be in the same boat. If angels were dropping dead left and right every time someone pleasured themselves, we’d be looking at a full-blown celestial genocide. The notion that the fate of angels depends on what we do when we’re alone is more than a little far-fetched. No need to feel guilty — those angels are safe.
