Using Kidslox to control my submissives’ devices provides comprehensive remote management and enforcement of rules. The app offers several critical features, all organized under different tabs and modes: Parent Mode, Child Mode, and Lock Mode.
1. Modes Overview
Parent Mode
Full Control:
In Parent Mode, I have unrestricted access to all the features. This mode is where I manage settings, monitor device usage, and adjust permissions without any limitations.
Monitoring and Configuration:
It’s where I set up app restrictions, time limits, geolocation tracking, and more.
Child Mode
Customizable Restrictions:
In Child Mode, I can customize access and filter content. This mode allows me to enforce rules like:
App Blocking:
I can block individual apps or entire categories, like social media or entertainment apps. Each submissive can have a different set of blocked apps depending on what privileges they’ve earned.
Store & Content Restrictions:
I control access to the app store and limit inapp purchases. I can also restrict content based on ratings (e.g., blocking access to mature apps, movies, or music).
Content Filtering:
Web content filtering is active in Child Mode, ensuring that inappropriate websites or adult content are automatically blocked. Additionally, safe search options in browsers like Google and Bing are enabled to avoid access to harmful material.
Lock Mode
Maximum Restrictions:
Lock Mode is the most restrictive mode, designed to enforce total control by disabling all apps except those I’ve allowed.
Allow List:
I create an Allow List of apps that can remain functional in Lock Mode (such as phone calls or productivity tools). This is useful when I want to enforce focus while still allowing limited necessary functions.
Instant Lock:
At any point, I can activate Instant Lock to immediately lock down all devices, asserting immediate control if rules are violated or if I require their undivided attention.
2.App Blocking
Blocking Individual Apps:
Kidslox allows me to block or limit the use of specific apps based on each submissive’s behavior. This ensures they cannot access distracting or unauthorized apps, such as social media, during times when I expect them to focus on assigned tasks.
Custom App Restrictions by Mode:
In Child Mode, blocked apps remain inaccessible, while in Lock Mode, only the apps on the Allow List are permitted. This granular control helps me enforce different levels of restrictions depending on the circumstances.
3. Safety Nets
Stop App Deletion:
Kidslox includes a crucial safety feature that prevents the app from being deleted. This ensures that my restrictions stay in place, and there’s no risk of a submissive trying to bypass the rules by uninstalling Kidslox or tampering with the controls.
Telescope Feature:
The Telescope function allows me to capture screenshots of their phone activity, providing visual confirmation of compliance. I can schedule these snapshots regularly, ensuring realtime monitoring.
4. Time Management
Daily Limits:
I can set daily screen time limits for each submissive, ensuring they don’t exceed the amount of time I’ve permitted them to use their devices. Once the limit is reached, the phone locks automatically.
Schedules:
Kidslox offers scheduling tools that let me restrict access during certain times of the day. For example, I can enforce phonefree times during work hours, mealtimes, or sleep hours.
Time Rewards:
For good behavior or completed tasks, I can reward them with additional screen time. Kidslox allows submissives to send a request for more time, which I can approve or deny based on their performance. This feature helps reinforce positive behavior while maintaining control.
5. Geolocation
Current Position Tracking:
Kidslox provides realtime location tracking, allowing me to know the exact location of each submissive at any given moment. This feature helps ensure they’re where they’re supposed to be.
Geofencing and Notifications:
I can define specific areas such as home or work and create allocation radius around these zones. If a submissive enters or leaves a designated area, I receive instant notifications. This level of tracking ensures adherence to my expectations and reinforces physical boundaries, not just digital ones.
Home and Work Locations:
Defining these locations allows me to know whether my submissives are within the expected zones during the times I’ve designated.
Notifications on Enter/Leave:
This is particularly useful for ensuring that they stick to approved routines or report to me when they deviate from the expected areas.
